Almost from the chair

Already in 2018 we have enjoyed a fascinating series of presentations at our club meetings.

Rob Ashcroft on Macrophotography ( http://www.macromeister.co.uk) took us into a new world. Flash lighting is a key component in his work, both in the studio and out in the field. Much of his photography is about imagination and ideas, about making the ordinary in life appear extraordinary. In February we had some wonderful presentations by club members including Christine on the Yellowstone National Park, Jane on fine art and its relationship with photography, and Charles on the historic little gems to be found in churches in our area. The club also had a hugely fun evening when members presented their digital poster adverts. We are most grateful to the Dean of Brecon cathedral in allowing us to hold an exhibition in the cathedral in May. More details to follow. We have a great selection of events and speakers coming up this spring. Do come and join us. The Club offers a warm welcome to prospective members.
